About
Grackle is an at-a-glance database of modern and contemporary art exhibitions available for tour.

Each posting is managed and edited by the organizing institution or curator. Uploaded images and information may be only representative and may not be of actual works in the exhibition. Grackle is not responsible for the content or images posted by the organizing institutions onto its site. It does not promote any artists or exhibitions posted. It is primarily an online tool designed for institutions and curators to communicate with one another more effectively.

To Search
You may search for exhibitions by most recent postings, institution, artist(s), curator(s), floorspace (square footage), exhibition fee, or dates of availability. Any search on Grackle will yield results from postings found on the Grackle database and not from the world wide web. Details regarding insurance, conservation, shipping, touring, etc. may be found in Exhibition Details. For further information you are invited to contact the curator or organizing institution directly.

To Post
For an username and a password to post exhibitions, contact info@grackleworld.com. The template is designed to accommodate exhibitions in development as well as exhibitions already on tour. These may also include exhibitions organized by independent curators. Users may update, edit, activate and deactivate information on Grackle. They may also forward a link to their exhibition by e-mail.

To include detailed information about your exhibition, you can cut and paste word documents onto Exhibition Details. You can include up to twelve images (RGB jpegs at 72dpi not exceeding 750k). If you would like images to fit perfectly into image box, size them to 402 x 372px; otherwise, discreet grey bands will automatically frame them.
